She has grown so much this year...

Now for some information on her health... As those of you who have kept up with this blog know, Kate was born with what the medical people call a UVJ obstruction...which basically means that where her ureter meets her bladder was obstructed (by itself---folded up ureter). She has had surgeries and procedures in an attempt to correct this issue, but continues to have urinary tract infections about once every 2 months...although we are sitting at being clean for 8 weeks as I type PRAISE THE LORD!!! Well, we have been referred to a pediatric urologist in Chapel Hill at UNC Children's Hospital and on June 3, we actually may have some answers. She is going to have a re-do of 2 tests done (this is routine with someone with her anatomical make-up) and then we will go from there. For the most part, she is a sweet, healthy little girl though...but she is the little girl "with the little curl"...for those that know that little saying. :)
